Air Fryer Sweet Potato Chips Recipe

Make delicious sweet potato chips with your air fryer. After much experimentation, I found that a mandoline set just a hair thicker than 1/16 inch (3/32 inch) made the nicest chips.

– 1 large (8 ounces) sweet potato – 1 tablespoon canola oil – 1/4 teaspoon sea salt – 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper – cooking spray

Ingredient

Wavy Line
Flour Bowl

Step 1

Mandoline potato rounds to 1/16-inch thickness. Soak potato slices in a large dish of cold water for 20 minutes.

Check chips after 30 seconds and use tongs to remove golden chips from the basket to avoid overcooking and bitterness.
