Cheese And Pepper Pasta Recipe For Easter Day 2024

Enjoy this super easy and cheesy vegetarian pasta. 

– 375g dried tubular spaghetti – 75g butter, chopped – 3 garlic cloves, crushed – 3 tsp coarsely ground black pepper (see note) – 1 cup finely grated parmesan – 1/2 cup finely grated pecorino – 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chive – Garlic bread, to serve

Step 1

Cook 375g dried tubular spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water, following packet directions. Drain pasta, reserving 1 cup cooking liquid.

Step 2

In a large pan, melt 75g diced butter over medium-high heat.Add 3 crushed garlic cloves and 3 tsp coarse black pepper. Aromatic stir 1 minute. Add pasta water

Step 3

Add 1 cup finely grated parmesan and 1/2 cup pecorino. Whisk sauce thinly. Add pasta. Then coat.

Sprinkle with 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives. Serve with Garlic bread, to serve
