Cinnamon Tea Recipe

I occasionally prepare cinnamon tea with the German china tea set my mother-in-law brought home from a trip. I feel special and can recall her with each sip.  



– 2 cups water – 6 (4-inch) cinnamon stick – 4 lemon slices, or as needed – 4 teaspoons honey, or to taste

Step 1

Boil water and cinnamon sticks in a small pot over medium-high heat. Cover, lower heat, and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 2

Allow to steep for 5 minutes after removing from heat. Serve heated with lemon wedges and a teaspoon honey.
