Irish Soda Bread Recipe

I got this Irish soda bread recipe from my mother, Agnes Walters. Sour cream makes it juicy and lasts several days.

– 4 cups all-purpose flour – 1 cup white sugar – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 1 teaspoon baking soda – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 pint sour cream – 1 cup raisin – 3 egg

Ingredient

Flour Bowl

Step 1

Warm the oven up to 165 degrees C (325 degrees F). Prepare two 8x4-inch loaf pans by greasing them.

Step 2

Add the salt, baking powder, baking soda, and flour and mix them together. Just until everything is mixed together, add the sour cream, raisins, and eggs.

The loaves should be brought to a boil in an oven that is already hot for one hour.
