Loaded Waffle Fries Recipe

Chapati is an unleavened whole wheat bread that is eaten in India. We love to use it as a wrap. 

  – 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour – ¾ teaspoon salt – 1 cup water

Step 1

 Mix flour and salt together in a bowl. Stir in water to form a soft dough.

Step 2

Knead dough several times on a lightly floured surface. Eight parts, roll into balls. Use a rolling pin to thinly round each ball.

Step 3

 Preheat a griddle on medium-high. Each dough ball should bubble and blister on the griddle after 2 minutes. Flip and lightly brown the other side.

Step 4

Cook bacon in a pan over medium-high heat for 5 minutes until crisp. Place bacon on a paper towel-lined platter. After cooling, crumble.
