Tamarind Margarita recipe

Have you tried tamarind margaritas? Tamarind paste gives this margarita the ideal sweet-tart taste. If you want more sweetness, add 1/2 oz agave nectar. 


– 1 tablespoon chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®) – 1 lime wedge – 2 cups ice, or as needed – 2 ounces tamarind paste concentrate – 1 1/2 fluid ounces silver tequila – 1 fluid ounce agave nectar – 1 fluid ounce lime juice – 1/2 fluid ounce triple sec



Put chili-lime seasoning on a dish. Use the lime wedge to wet the glass rim. Press the wet rim into the seasoning. Fill glass with ice.

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Put tamarind paste, tequila, agave nectar, lime juice, and triple sec in the shaker.

Seal and shake hard for 10–15 seconds to frost exterior. Strain mixture into glass. Lime wedge garnish.
