Sometimes we need consolation. While comfort food is usually associated with evening, such mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, or chicken and waffles, it may also be eaten at breakfast.
Ingredient
– ¼ cup bacon grease– ¼ cup flour– 2 cups whole milk– ½ teaspoon salt– ¼ teaspoon pepper– Sprinkle of cayenne pepper

Let bacon fat slightly melt in a pan. Mix in the flour thoroughly. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.

Keep swirling milk to remove lumps. Stir constantly for 5 minutes to thicken gravy.

Add salt, pepper, and cayenne, stirring. Salt to taste, then serve immediately.
