– 1.5 lbs cod cut into 4 individual filet– ¼ cup avocado oil– Zest of 1 lime– 2 Tbsp lime juice– 2 cloves garlic minced– 2 tsp chili powder– 2 tsp dried oregano– ½ tsp sea salt to taste– ¼ tsp black pepper

Unpackage the cod and arrange it on a dish or chopping board. Remove extra moisture with paper towels. To cook fish evenly, defrost filets thoroughly. .

Stir together all of the ingredients for the marinade in a measuring cup or a mixing bowl until well combined.

Marinate cod filets in a zip lock bag or sealable container. Seal the bag and stir until everything is marinated.

Refrigerate at least 30 minutes, up to 10 hours.
