Homemade Fig Jam (With Dried Figs) Recipe

Anyone who has made jam knows that with a few ingredients, you can make a wonderful spread that lasts longer than fresh fruit.


– 2 pounds dried fig – 2 cups sugar – ¼ cup lemon juice – ⅓ cup water



Add sugar to figs in a big pot.Water with lemon juice. Medium-heat and boil.

Bring it down to a simmer. For 20 to 25 minutes, or until it gets thicker, simmer.

After allowing it to cool, put it to jars. Store in the refrigerator for up to three months.
