Mexican Mocha Recipe

When I tried a Mexican mocha at a coffee shop, I knew I had to make my own at home. 

– 2 tablespoons powdered sugar – 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder – ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon – ¼ teaspoon chili powder – 1 cup hot coffee – ¼ cup half-and-half creamer – whipped cream for topping (optional) – cinnamon for sprinkling (optional)

Step 1

In the bottom of a mug, mix together cocoa powder, cinnamon, chilli powder, and powdered sugar.

Step 2

Add the hot coffee to the mixture, then stir it until it dissolves. Add the creamer made with half-and-half and whisk it in.

Step 3

In the event that you so wish, you can finish it off with whipped cream and cinnamon.
