Oyster Shooters Recipe

A hot drink is called an oyster shooter. It was a hit when I worked as a barman and I made this recipe up myself. 

– 9 fluid ounces tomato juice – 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish – 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper – 12 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers vodka – 12 shucked oyster – 1 lemon - cut into wedges, for garnish

Step 1

In a big bowl, mix the horseradish, tomato juice, and pepper together until everything is well mixed.

Step 2

Put 1/2 shot of the tomato juice mix into each of the 12 small glasses. Each glass needs a shot of vodka. In each glass, put one raw oyster and a lemon wedge on top.
