Roasted Asparagus Recipe For Easter Day 2024

Fresh lemon juice on tender grilled asparagus? What a lovely spring green side!   

 –1 pound fresh asparagus, woody ends trimmed 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 teaspoon kosher salt ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper lemon, juiced

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Snap off (or cut off) and discard the woody ends of the asparagus.

Step 2

Mix asparagus spears with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper on the baking sheet. Layer them level and evenly.

Step 3

Tenderize spears by baking for 7–12 minutes (less for thinner spears, more for thicker).

Step 4

Transfer the roasted asparagus to a serving platter and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
